All requests to cancel or reschedule must be submitted in writing.

a. Presenter-Initiated Rescheduling. If the PRESENTER is unable to appear on the originally scheduled date due to illness, emergency, legally mandated appearance, or other significant personal or family obligations, the event will be rescheduled by mutual agreement under this agreement’s rescheduling terms. In such cases, the PRESENTER is responsible for any travel penalties.

b. Force Majeure or Dangerous Conditions. If the PRESENTER has commenced travel and the event is canceled due to an Act of God (e.g., ice storm, earthquake) or a dangerous situation (e.g., riots, violence), a replacement date will be offered within one year.

c. Rescheduling by Agreement. Requests to reschedule must be mutually agreed upon by both parties. If the event is rescheduled, the retainer may be applied to a future event hosted by the SPONSOR within one year of the original event date. Dates are subject to availability, and tour discounts may not apply.

If an event cannot take place on the originally scheduled date due to circumstances beyond the control of the SPONSOR or PRESENTER, the SPONSOR will have sixty (60) days from the originally scheduled date to choose one of the following options:
     1. Elect to have the services delivered as an interactive virtual live event, from Veley Productions’ professional broadcast studio, at no additional cost.
     2. Reschedule the event for a future date within one year, in accordance with the Travel Costs & Penalties section (listed below).

d. Cancellation. If the SPONSOR does not select one of the options above within the sixty (60) day period and chooses to cancel, the total fee will become due and payable within ninety (90) days of the originally scheduled event date.

e. Travel Delays & Overnight Rest. If transportation disruptions beyond the control of either party — including airline cancellations, mechanical failures, or widespread travel delays — occur, or if travel circumstances result in the PRESENTER having less than seven (7) hours of overnight rest prior to required pre-event duties (including travel to the venue, load-in, setup, or sound check), any presentations scheduled for that day may, at the sole discretion of Veley Productions, be delayed or rescheduled. This policy is intended to support the health and safety of the PRESENTER, as well as the quality of the performance delivered to the SPONSOR’s audience.

f. Travel Costs & Penalties. If an event is rescheduled by the SPONSOR, by mutual agreement, or due to circumstances beyond the control of either party, the SPONSOR is responsible for any non-refundable or changeable travel expenses incurred, as well as any additional travel costs required to complete the rescheduled engagement.
